Guego, vocalista del grupo Malahora, llegó desde Sevilla con una buena ración de pop y rock angloparlante -se quedaron fuera Wilco y The Smiths- con la que ilustró algunas de las principales filias e influencias del combo hispalense. Agradecidos, hicimos lo propio seleccionando algunas de nuestras canciones favoritas de su banda, que acaba de editar "Excursionistas", su segundo largo. De nuevo, hemorragia de placer.

Esta tarde, arriban a las orilla de La Isla de Encanta dos náufragas de excepción: Bea y Montse, del grupo Nosoträsh. Bienvenido al weblog de la isla de encanta

Además de una canción de Pixies, La Isla de Encanta es un programa bicéfalo, dirigido por dos personas, Julio C. Moreno y César Luquero, que lleva en antena desde el 6 enero del año 2000. En un primer momento emitio a través de Radio Jabato (103.8 FM), estación independiente sita en Coslada y hasta la fecha se escucha a traves de Radio Circulo (100.4 FM), la radio de Circulo de Bellas Artes de Madrid. Por él han desfilado multitud de colaboradores hasta estabilizarse en la nómina presente. La música ha sido, desde el primer minuto de su existencia, el motor que impulsaba este proyecto.

Así sigue siendo, aunque a día de hoy cabe consignar algunos cambios con respecto a su primigenia forma de hacer. En un principio, era la actualidad del panorama pop y rock, en todas sus acepciones, la que primaba en su parrilla de contenidos, pero el tiempo, la experiencia y, más importante, los objetivos comunicativos de sus responsables, fueron el detonante para dar un definitivo golpe de timón. En lugar de primar el día a día del mercado, decidimos acercarnos a éste con talante retrospectivo, enfocando nuestros esfuerzos con ánimo didáctico, poniendo el acento antes en los orígenes que en las consecuencias.
